| There is no doubt that the 338 calibers have the long distance advantage over all calibers (a prairie dog kill at 1.78 miles - no typo but a fact). This was set with a lapua which is ridulously expensive especially when you put a custom scope on it. My question i sabout the 338-378 weatherby which I can get dirt cheap and still new. Will get a superb weatherby stock friend to put a stock on it and embedd it properly. He states that it will be as accurate if not better than an accumark. Some people swear by the 338-378 while others swear at it. All I want is sufficient accuracy to shoot decently at a half a mile. Anyone have experience with the 338-378? |
