The Outlaw Sling is a backpack style rifle sling. A padded shoulder harness that is worn over both shoulders, with the firearm carried in the middle of your back, in an upright position (barrel up) or barrel down, your preference.

The Outlaw Sling will allow you to carry a secondary firearm into the field, or it will allow you to have both your hands free to carry other equipment to your stand or blind, or it will allow you to drag or carry your game from the field. It will allow you to be active in the field, climb a hill, climb a rock, climb a tree, without worry of your gun sliding and falling from your shoulder, and being damaged from the fall.

I have spent 2 1/2 years on research and development of the Outlaw, from prototypes, to different configurations, to the current model, and testing.

My main goal was to give hunters the ability to carry a secondary firearm in the field comfortably, from their truck to the top of the mountain or to their stand or blind.

It was also my goal to make a rifle sling that could be used completely worry free, and allow the user to have their hands free to perform other activities while in the field, and the Outlaw Sling has met every goal I set out to achieve.

My secondary goal was to make it light weight (it is less than one pound), soft to the touch, supple, so that it can be rolled up and placed in a pocket, then return to its original shape when unfurled. I achieved that goal also.

I sent the first prototypes to my brother, and some close family friends that are hunters, asking them to test the Outlaw and then give me a report of their experience with it. All reports were positive.

UPDATE August 8, 2008

Timber Butte Outdoors has received new photos and have posted them to our website. The photo are of the wife of a customer (Lungbuster). She was gracious enough to grace our pages with her beauty.

I would like to formally Thank Lungbuster and his beautiful wife for their exceptional work on these photos.

These pictures show the versatility of the sling while being used by a woman or man. She is walking and hiking in the hill country of Southern Idaho. She is hiking over rocks and through brush, up hill and down.

I have posted a video and only a few of over 100 photos received. I will change them from time to time, so that I can display them all.

These are very good pictures. If you are interested in seeing more photos, you can jump on over to our website, click on the Photo Gallery link.

While you are there check out our new products on the Products Page, and the Photo Gallery Page.

Thank You & God Bless.
